The wonderful natural surroundings of La Manga Club lends itself to a number of options to enjoy the great outdoors. These include triathlon, road cycling, mountain biking & running.
Triathlon
Triathlon is one of the most complete sports that exists, comprising three different disciplines:-
- Swimming
- Cycling (normally road biking)
- Running
La Manga Club has established itself as a unique destination in Spain for training in endurance sports such as triathlon.
Mild year-round weather, first-class sports facilities, two seas for open water swimming and a location on the edge of the Calblanque Natural Park mean that La Manga Club is able to offer fantastic natural routes for cycling and running training at all levels. For those seeking to take their training to the next level, expert guidance is also available at the Fitness Centre along with the services of the High Performance Sport Centre (CIARD) both situated in the Wellness Centre.
Junior Triathlon Academy
The Triathlon Academy seeks to develop children through encouraging a sports-orientated life.
This has led to the development of the following objectives:-
- To acquire motor skills and to improve their physical condition.
- To enjoy triathlon as a recreational activity and a hobby. Competition does not have to be a priority, but used as a channel to achieve personal goals that are more challenging and that are related to the practice of triathlon. All of this will lead to complete enjoyment in all aspects of life.
